The Fauldhouse and Breich Valley Timebank project launched in October 2013 and exchanges are happening around the village of Fauldhouse.
All you need to know about what Timebanking is and how you can get involved will be posted here.
What is Timebanking?
Fauldhouse and Breich Valley Timebanking is a great way to help in your community, to meet new people, swap skills and get some help back through exchanges. Timebanks run all over the UK, with the main body being Timebanking UK. In 2020 Scotland set up a constituted group, made up of a network of Timebanks in Scotland, this is called Timebanking Scotland. These two networks support the Timebank co-ordinators and brokers who run the Timebanks.
If your garden is unruly or the walls need painting, Fauldhouse and Breich Valley Timebank can find someone to do your jobs in return for you helping someone else. That could be anything from shopping for an elderly neighbour or hosting a coffee morning.
Bank your hours, donate them to a friend/family member/charity or take them yourself! It’s totally up to you!
How do I get involved?
The easiest way to join the Fauldhouse and Breich Valley Timebank is to contact Ann at The Hub who will arrange for an informal chat and assist with the paperwork required (see links below).
