Advice & Support

Local support, advice and anti-poverty

The advice services at The Hub are consistently busy and usually all appointments are booked in advance. This shows that outreach services offering support and advice locally are not only beneficial and helpful, but are vital to many people living within the local communities.

We can help and support you to access services locally including

  • Citizens Advice Bureau West Lothian (CAB West Lothian)

  • The Advice Shop

  • Community Connections

  • Emergency Food support and/or refer to West Lothian Foodbank

  • Annual Christmas Food and Toy Appeal

If you need support or advice that is not listed here, please still get in touch, we will do everything we can to help!

How can you access these services?

You can give us a call on 01501 773 699 or pop into The Hub, 10 Main Street, Fauldhouse.

Annual Christmas Food and Toy Appeal
Christmas appeal.jpg

This annual appeal donates Christmas food hampers and toys to families, couples and/or individuals in Fauldhouse and the Breich Valley requiring help at this time.

F&BV CDT want to make sure that we deliver to those who really need support. To do this we ask the community to tell us if there is anyone they know who would benefit from this appeal during, what can be, a difficult time of year.

We take referrals from family members, neighbours, schools and community partners from a health or social care department. No child should go without at Christmas.

We also ask those in the community, who are able, to 'donate a tin if you can'.

"F&BV CDT's vision for the Fauldhouse and Breich Valley is for clean, attractive and healthy villages with excellent transport links that are a model for thriving locally led sustainable regeneration; places where people of all ages, abilities and circumstances are happy and informed, with their own part to play in the economic, environmental and social life of their villages and the surrounding countryside".
